hey all,
anyone know anything about Randy Marsh? he's the
drummer for a group called Organissimo, which is based
around, you guessed it, an organ (i'm guessing a
Hammond) and guitar. they're apparently based in
Michigan and the drummer, Randy, also plays harmonica.
they have a great sound, even without the harmonica,
but i heard a track on Michigan radio that had some
very tasty diatonic playing. sounded to me like he was
using overblows in his playing. i wouldn't call it
"Levy-like" exactly, but it wasn't Little Walter by
any stretch. very good playing all the same. from the
band website, it seems he plays chromatic as well. can
anyone tell me more?
thanks all,
--Jp
