[Harp-L] Harmonica Masterclass in DC

Allen Holmes will be teaching a Harmonica Masterclass with special guest Nicolas Fouquet on Thursday, August 11th, from 7:00pm until at least 10:00pm. The class will be held on Capitol Hill at 644 East Capitol Street NE, Washington DC.  All levels of players and types of harmonicas are welcome. 

This class is the first in a series of twice-a-month harmonica classes to be held by Allen Holmes.  Potential topics include: rhythmic playing, phrasing, working on harps, techniques of bending, tongue blocking, doublestops, and tone.  Players will also have the opportunity to participate in music arranged for a harmonica band.  The class will be recorded and available on CDs for participants.  The cost is $25.
