Chuck,
I saw Jason using this unit by Samson:
http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?ItemID=11885&TempID=1&departmentid=0
Chris has a point about the AKG unit being a bit 'sturdier' but I'm sure
Jason bangs the hell out of his out on his 'one nighters' across the US!,-)
here's the AKG

I should also mention that the AKG is True Diversity (two antennas) so
you'll get NO interference etc....
hope this helps...............good luck
ciao,
rob

Subject: [Harp-L] Jason Ricci/Wireless Mic Question
Hi,
I was wondering If anybody know what wireless setup Jason Ricci is using.
I neglected to ask him at the show the other night and it would be cool
not to have to be connected by a cable. His had a plug that goes into the
bottom of his electrovoice RE10 and I noticed a small receiver which he
lays on the floor next to his effects pedals? it definitely did'nt seem to
affect his monster tone
