I have to add my 2 cents here because I've been doing something different
with my delay. What I do is to run it off a variable adapter at 4.5 volts
rather than 9v. It gives me a realy nice little crunch that otherwise
wouldn't be there. I discovered this when I was playing once when the
battery died on me. For about five minutes I got this sweet, throaty
break-up. Then it squieled like hell after the battery went into it's last
gasp. Somebody on this list (I forget who) suggested the variable voltage
adapter (I got it at Radio Shack) and I tried it.

I also recomend that you don't use batteries with any
of these units because they suck them dry after each gig, and thus increases
the
noise level ten fold, and make sure that you get the CORRECT a/c adapter for
them (because the wrong ones will also cause noise problems in addition.).

Hey BB Bob :
Too true on those little 9 volters . This Ibanez PC-40 I plug into the ac
and is
never noise ridden like the those you mentioned . Good point to bring out .
