 I mentioned Joe Martin (Mandeville, Louisiana) yesterday but I think 
it slipped by

 Joe and Pierre are friends. I also know Pierre but only to talk too. 
We met in 1960 when he had a place in NOLA (Bateaux Lounge). I was 
studying clarinet at the time.

 I had once mentioned that when Joe gets too old to play D-L, I would 
be glad to 'fill' his slot. I was immediately chastised and told "Joe 
Martin can't BE replaced". I said nothing about replacing him, I merely 
said I would fill in for him. Ironically every time I speak of filling 
in a time slot (that's all I'm good for), I am accused of trying to 
replace someone. We HAVE done some stuff over the years and did a duet 
in Dallas at the jazz club.

 Actually I think they're TAPES (2). You can get them from Farrell, or 
call him at the number above.
