I only move the harp, except when playing on a neck rack (and since I'm
terrible on guitar, that rarely happens). When I was first starting out, I
found that moving my head caused me to lose my embouchure. It would
probably not be as big of a problem now that I'm more comfortable in my
mouth shapes, but I'm fairly set in my ways. I think that's the main reason
I never use head shakes, because it goes against my training.

IIRC, Little Walter preferred moving his hands for trills etc. because
he thought he looked silly shaking his head.
I tend to use my hands more because shaking my head fast gives me a
headache.
