"what was the largest gathering of people playing harmonica simultaneously?"

(BTW: thanks, Peter, for the Guinness Book of Records- tip, but there is no
specific entry about such an event)

What do you mean by workshop?  The Summit in 2000 would probably be
it but that depends on the definaition.
