[Harp-L] Attenuators
So am I correct in thinking that Attenuators allow you to turn up your
amp to the point where it overdrives yet allow you to keep the volume
turned down to an acceptable level for any sized venue ?
If so isn't this a harp players dream ?
Would it allow the use of any amp with stock Tube / Valve set ups to be
utilised by harp players as a gigging amp ?
Say for example a Fender Twin could have it's volume on 10 and yet the
attenuator would allow you to control the overall volume thereby
avoiding feedback yet at the same time gaining that much craved after
overdiriven sound and the wonderful tones that accompany it ?
Surely not.
If not what does an attenuator do ?
