[Harp-L] Re: XB-40

I have 3 XB-40's (A, G and Low E) and plan on getting a C. I really like the Low E. It seems more mellow than my SP-20 Low E for certain songs. Doing the XB-40's does require a change in technique and that can be the fun for some of us.

Maybe it's my simplistic/amatuer approach, but I consider each harmonica as being different and therefore not being compared to one another just for the sake of comparison. When I do certain songs I pick the harp that goes with the song that fits the mood, which encompasses the environment, the audience and me, and more.

Each one of my harps has taken on its own personality. After all, I do at least 3 things with the harp - draw and blow and stasis - as I hold it to my face - as I move along with the music.

Okay !!! Now you all know that I am CRAZY - about harps and music.

Keep on harpin'
