fwiw, whenever popper (or other harp players) sit in with govt
mule, which they do on occasion, the mule fans really dig it.
even when some of them (not popper) are not all that great,
at least by harp-l standards. and popper and charlie musselwhite
played at the warren haynes christmas jam last year, and were well
received.
i'd love to see mule feature more harp players, especially ones
(like JR) who could hold their own on more of the mule repertoire
than just the blues standards that they tend to play when a harp
player's sitting in.
