I guess its cold your way to, you have my sympathy. Spring should be here any day now at least in Montreal.

PS who is Winslow?

He's the daddy of the list, highly respected. A really nice person who helps out with theory questions and who usually stays out of heated discussion. I guess he's seen them all.

i'm trying to learn tonque blocking but it's a problem to produce bends should I change to pucker while bending and overblowing?

Its up to you, its great if you can tongue block (I guess), but it takes time away from other things. I would suggest to keep trying it now and then, I'm sure it will click at some point. There are so many new things to learn, I'm not sure we should bother learning redundant techniques.

I use my tongue for octaves, but not for bending. I have tried bending tongue blocked bends (a bit), but they sound very weak (sort of muffled). There does not seem to be enough airflow, seems to me my tongue gets in the way of the airflow??? also I'm a bit tongue tied, can't stick my tongue out past my lips. Any good tongue blockers out there tongue tied at all?

Pierre.
