There is a person I read about in Montreal that organizes corporate teaming
events (or something of the sort, I don't remember). I guess some of the
staff take a day off and go to a hotel somewhere and learn to play harmonica
in one day. At the end of the day, they all play together. Perhaps hard to
make a full time job out of this but it can supplement income and can be
very lucrative.
Also some companies have hired a jester (Cirque du Soleil). The jester role
is to entertain and to shake up the people in the company. Kind of like a
pest most of the time, but a pest that makes people think. In the old days,
the jester was the only person who could pester the king without getting his
head cut off. So why not a jester with a harmonica. The jester I heard about
ended up getting fired after about a year, he said that that proved that he
was doing his job. So why not a jester that plays harp on occasion.
Pierre.
