If you want to plug a hi-imp 1/4" into a lo-imp XLR I found 2 options. Spend 40.00 for the hi to lo converter or buy a $7 crossover. I opted for the crossover. Now, what negative effects should I  encounter the next time I go to plug in to the XLR PA  since I did not get the converter-just a cheap crossover?
