[Harp-L] embossing

If the  reed gets stuck, check for rough edges either on the reed or the slot 
 edges.
If the slot becomes to narrow it can easily be pushed back with the  tip of a 
small screwdriver.


Altho it may be desireable to emboss a reedslot on both sides of the  
reedplate, am i still correct in my opinion that the most beneficial  embossing is 
done on top of the reed itself?   Whether or  not i am correct, how does a 
person *easily* push back the edges of a  reedslot with a screwdriver?  This would 
usually mean getting a  screwdriver under the reed, no?  That doesn't sound 
easy at all.  What  am i missing?
