Speaking of emotional level, my piano instructor once told me  'Larry, I
want you to make me cry when I hear you play this piece'  it was a piece by
chopin.  Afterwards I realized that I was entering a whole new ball game in
the art of piano playing.  The easiest part of playing an instrument is
reading the notation THEN comes the hard part, the inflection, the phrase
endings, the nuances.  All those little things that are not written into the
music but that every musician  knows from years of experience.
Feelllllllllllllllllllll the music, close your eyes listen to every little
passage, it's wonderful.
