[Harp-L] Re: EV RE10

When I found out Buzz had one, I ordered mine immediately! I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I like it a lot. I like how it fits in my hands and I like the clean signal I'm getting out of it. I do a lot of fast fiddle tunes and have had mic problems in the past where my notes would get lost due to 'muddiness'. All the notes are coming out warm and crystal clear on the RE-10. I got mine from Dennis Oellig(Mr. Microphone) with whom was a pleasure to do business. Lightning fast shipping and excellent communication.

Alright! I guess I'll come out of the closet. I also use an RE-10.

You can add Alan Radcliffe-Holmes to the list of players who use an RE-10; saw him using one at Jon Gindick's jam camp a year ago. And you can add me, too, although if I should happen to fall off this list I'd forgive you. As for holding the mic, I've cut apart a "coozie" (those foam cup holders, keeps beer cold) and taped it around the wand of the mic close to the head to give it a bit more bulk. Works for me, though I prefer holding a smaller mic anyway...
