That gooseneck idea is a good one for folks that use a "non collector"
class A amp - like a SF Champ. You can attach the gooseneck to the amp,
and use it to hold the mic for a PA if you want to go through the mains.

I suppose you could clamp a small light on the gooseneck too - just so
you can see if you have a beer in your attached cup holder, or if the
built in ashtray needs emptying too. =)
