Larry,

If you want to re-connect with your southern roots (south Detroit?) then
drop me a line when you get to town and join our regular Wednesday old
time and bluegrass session at the Baggot Inn (83 W. 3rd in the Village).
I'm meeting my long time friend and X-New Yorker Adam Gussow there
tomorrow night for some freereed fun. Don't worry about the hillbilly
stuff, you can wipe it off your shoes when you leave.  It's actually a
pretty hot session with the likes of Chris Thiele, Guy Davis and Mark
O'Connor making the scene when they aren't touring.
