RE: [Harp-L] Advanced split intervals
Paul, George Smith would do the 2/5 bend octave . Bending down the 5 on any key will give you the octave and then after that, of course, it's all 3 hole blocks on the draw. That's a great exercise to get all of the blow and draw octaves continuously. Easier said than done is an understatement! I did the 2/5 bend once while looking at the tuner and it didn't sound too good either. I've got smaller fish to fry. Thisallows for playing the octaves on the A note of a Charp for example. What a cool trick! UNfortunately, itseems beyons my ability. Although a pucker player Ican
bent the single note with TB. When I move mytongue however to allow the natural note to sound Iloose the bent one. Do many of you make use of this?Do I have to be a freak of nature to acheive it?How about other advanced splits such as overblowoctaves or chord fragments?Paul__________________________________________________Do You Yahoo!?Tired of spam?
