while i see your point, there's a fourth category, which i think
moandabluz (and myself) fall in:

4.) you recognize that you'll need to learn this at some point, 
but there're too many other things higher on your priority list
to work on.

my experience as a now-intermediate player is that the more
i learn, the more other things i realize i still need to work on.
OB's are in that list, but it'll be awhile before they reach the
head of it.
