Re: [Harp-L] overblow practice question
One suggestion:
Play the "blues scale" in cross harp. Then, go around the cycle of fifths with it. Become familiar with where the notes are. Finally, challenge yourself to play a simple solo based on the notes of the blues scale in all 12 positions - use a back up CD or Abersold product that has blues played in all 12 keys.

Subject: [Harp-L] overblow practice question
Hello list. I have a problem. I can play the overblows and overdraws, but i don´t know how to use them. What is the best way to get familiar with the OB and OD? play diferent scales in all 12 positions? play melodies from others harmonica or sax players? .
Another question on scales: ¿ what scales are used in diferent types of music? or better ¿ the scales are best to get familiar with the instrument or to play a certain type of music?
Thanks, merry christmas and happy new year!
