(Guy sez
"Have you worked with a Shaker Dynamic mic? I bought one and have been
experiencing very stubborn feed-back. I play through a Blues Jr. and
cannot
for the life of me find a setting or spacial orientation that
alleviates the problem.")
Hi Guy,
I have a Boss Blues Driver which I fooled around with for harp. I took it out of my pedal board because it didn't seem to add anything desirable. It did, however, allow me to turn up much louder w/o feedback and definitely changed the sound.
You could probably try one out at a music store. Also, I recommend Bill Machrone for any Blues Jr. mods. He was interested in working with me and is top-rate.

I have other amps (Valcos, SJ410) but with a Weber VST 12F150-O-50 (with "H" dust cap) speaker, tube swaps and the mods, I decided I loved the way this amp sounds.
In terms of feedback, I can't get my SJ410 above 6 before feedback sets in, but when a guitarist plugged in he was able to dime it (turned up to 12 ).
Thanks,
Brian
