RE: using mouth and nose as sources of air for harmonica, etc.
 
One of the nore (IMO) underappreciated living harmonica players today, Peter "Madcat" Ruth, used both mouth and nose in one of his solo demonstrations of what can be done with harmonica and various other breath driven sound devices.
 
Unfortunately, this will always look odd and unusual in performance, thereby once again moving the harmonica towards "vaudeville" when used in such a fashion.
