Subject: Re: [Harp-L] Better to have Loved and Lost...

I couldn't get through what Bobbie wrote without tears flooding down my
face. You have such a way of touching my heart, Bobbie.

We can only imagine how tough this is for you....not to have been there, but
what an incredibly lovely thing for you, to hear your song. You will always
have that. Words don't suffice. You do know, though...that you have good
friends in this community who would do anything to support and comfort you.
You've earned every bit of it by how much you give out to others. If you can
tear yourself away from warm, sunny climes, come on up to snowy, cold New
York and I'll guarantee you at least a cozy fire on Christmas/New Year, with
lots of hot cocoa and British tea. The offer is open-ended.

Your "better to have loved and lost......" resonates with me, as it's what I
live by.
Too many folks lead lives of quiet desperation...never reaching out for some
small happiness they're missing and might have if they'd just open their
hearts and stop letting fear/convention rule their existence. You're one of the
bravest people I know and if you don't come up to spend Christmas with me,
I'll at least be sending you heartfelt thoughts over that weekend.

Peace, love, music and hopefully some Joy to you too, Bobbie, for this
Holiday Season.

Harp content? I'm going to look up the Brendan Power version of My Lagan
