That's exactly it!  It takes a lot of work to say those four syllables.
Problem is, we usually have to say five:  "I play harp...(weird look)...uh,
harmonica."

Oh yeah, I've gotten that a couple of times.  People don't actually expect
us to say all four syllables in "harmonica", do they?
