RE: [Harp-L] Why use a delay pedal?
The Digitech RP units will do delay, plus reverb, plus compression or wah, plus amp modeling, plus cabinet modeling, plus EQ, plus one other effect of your choice (pitch shift, flange, chorus, etc.) all at once.
The reverbs in the RPs are passable. The delays sound very good with harp, and they come in three varieties -- an analog emulation, a digital delay, and a ping-pong delay. All three work well, the first is what most harp players will prefer.

Richard, to combine topics from two current threads, can the Digitech RP
units be used to effectively add reverb and delay? I've never used one
so I wasn't sure if that was part of what they provide. Of course this
would be digital, whereas some folks have stated that analog (analog
pedals) is better.
