You must have a Bassman RI, Ev re 10, Samson wireless,
and Kinder Anit Feedback too!
I don't have enough money to sound like Jason. So I
only have the amp and Boss pedal. Once I save up
another grand, I am going to buy my position as one of
the best diatonic players going!!!
Just kidding.
The Boss OC-2 works better as a preamp then my Harp
Commander with my Bassman. Only to about a volume of
three. Anything higher then that and the amp sounds
the same without it (assuming I adjust the bass too).
I actually had heard that Billy Branch does that
too. I guess it depends on the mic you use and taste,
whether you'd want a preamp device or not.
For the record...I sound nothing like Jason, period.
Going back to the original question at hand...
I read that there is a new version of the Boss Octave
pedal...I wonder if that would sound better with harp.
I know there are some that provide a better octave
effect for playing things other then single notes.
Good luck.
