[Harp-L] Tuning Limits

Since you are on the subject, I have a question.  Can you take reeds 8, 9,
and 10 and sand them down from root to tip with fine emery on a sanding wand
so that they are thinner overall, retune them to the correct pitch and end
up with a thinner reed that's easier to sound and bend?  Or, are you just
going to ending up trashing the reed for good my doing this?
