Hey all,
I'm out looking at wireless setups this week.
My amps: Bassman RI and/or a Blues Jr.
Mics: EV606, Astatic crystal, and sometimes an SM57.
My question is: Is there a significant difference in wireless
transmitting
systems between those designated as "instrument" or "guitar", and those
labeled
as wireless "microphone" systems?

input is high impedance, while the mic input is low impedance.
Some systems come with a body pack transmitter with both types of
inputs, while dedicated microphone systems often come with a hand held
mic that has a transmitter either built into the mic shaft or that
snaps on, while lavalier or other clip-on mics will use a body pack.
