[Harp-L] fireball

I have contact probably with more harp players than most, literally
thousands over the years that want Chicago style fat. If Audix wanted to promote a
mic I told them specifically what it was used for, they should have sent it
ready to play into an amp, not a PA. My experience with it and the hype they are
creating does not match. Then someone called and spent an hour of my time
trying to explain how the mic was designed and all that. Look man I said, I
plugged it in, sounded like crap out of a very strong bassman, I shouldn't have
to go to Radio Shack or anywhere else to buy anything with it. If Audix has
something for harp players out of the box that sounds fat contact me again, and
I dont need technical why and how, I want to plug it in and have it sound
like what we are looking for. Chicago players mostly play high impedence mics.
So make it have the right cord, right setup and I would be happy to test one
and give hopefully a better opinion other than it was a waste of time having
to send it back, get an RA number, all that. I would love a new mic that
actually worked like it said. I want to offer my customers something with my amp,
which I what I told them, but again someone was bending my ear so bad with
technical babble he wasn't listening.
