Check with the Houston chapter of the Harmonica Organization of Texas
(HOOT).  Gary Johnson (gbjohnson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) might make a good
contact for them.  They are actually based out of Tomball, but they
are the most connected group of harmonica players in the Houston area
that I know of.  If you haven't heard of HOOT yet or visited the
Houston chapter, please do.  HOOT maintains a website for all of their
chapters at www.hoottexas.com.  I am out of the Austin chapter.
