[Harp-L] behringer acx 1000

A local acquaintance is selling a Behringer acx 1000. It's a 40 watt (I think) solid state acoustic guitar amp with 2 8's and a horn. I've never read about acoustic amps being good or bad for harp. (Generally solid states are not recommended, although Richard Hunter talks about using a keyboard amp to amplify a smaller tube amp via the smaller amps line out.) Nothing beats trying it out in person; so I will try the behginger. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this amp or other acoustic guitar amp for harmonica; also how might it serve better than or worse than a keyboard amp to amplify a small tube amp or tube preamp. I think it's a modeling amp of sorts with scads of "presets."

(I usually just mike a small tube amp to the PA; sometimes using a line out if the amp has one -- not sure why I would do it through another amp unless other folks didn't want me in the PA monitors -- or if the modeling stuff was just too tempting to resist.)

Any thoughts on this are appreciated.
