[Harp-L] Re: boss VF-1

Glad you are getting one, but i must add that if you are going for a more vintage harmonica sound, the Boss unit may be too clean for you. If you use it, consider using the low pass filter and rolling off your high frequencies in your reverbs and/or your delays.

Randy,

Tnx for the input. I think I will go ahead and get one, they are on e-bay
all the time as well as the Sabine feedback exterminator. I am in the
process of setting up a '65 Fender Bassman for my amp. I'm changing the SS
rectifier to a tube and then I have to build a speaker cab. for the four
webers I am getting. I know I will need a feedback eliminator of somekind
if I want to get some volume.

I use a VF-1.

I love it and use it on all my gigs. It handles vocals and harmonicas
with gorgeous studio quality reverbs, delays, chorus, enhancers and
other clean effects. It is a lush sounding unit that is easy to
program. It is also half rack which takes up less space.

If you buy one and want some advice how to use it, feel free to call me
on the phone personally.

peace and harps,

ps

i also own a sabine feedbacker, one of the original ones. I have not
used it in a while so I cannot comment.

Does anybody use a boss VF-1? If so how do you like it???? How about
any
of the Sabine feedback Exterminators? which one and does it operates
like it
says it does? I am considering buying each of these and am looking
for a
little input one way or the other.
