[Harp-L] Audigy 2 ZS soundcard and Hering 1923's
Been trying to soup up my sound room and bought a
super-duper computer that comes with a Sound Blaster
Audigy 2 ZS [NOT platinum] sound card. Question: Do
any of you use this card, and, if so, do you use the
bundled ~Creative~ software to record/mix/burn??? Or
did you install Cakewalk/Acid/ProTools etc. type
stuff?
Been playing around with looping my harp practices AND
recording it. Old ~sound blaster~ card had too long a
latency time [lag],and after an hour you find yourself
in a new key- - -!
To repeat; The Audigy sound card; do I need additional
software to make recordings/mix/burn or will the
bundled ~Creative Labs~ stuff suffice?
Pretty remotely connected to harp- but ya'll NEVER let
me down,
Robb
PS: Still loving Hering Vintage Harp. Made me realize
that I HATE the MS Meisterklasse's coverplates. I seem
to ~leak air~ with them- and not with the 1923's. Just
struck me as I practiced some speed stuff in the car:
I really don't like the MS Meisterklass at all [after
a few hundred bucks and many years], whereas I love
practicing on the 1923's. Anyone know what I mean?
