This may sound more like a rant, but the one thing to really listen to for
the Jump Blues sound are HORNS, and many of these postings say that more
than a few of you guys out there listen to NOTHING but harp players, and
when you do just that, you are HURTING your own progress. Little Walter went
to the source, which was horns, why not all of you other harp players???????
You can't just listen to harp players only and expect to learn anything
further, because many of the greats listened to a lot of other instruments
and adapted things from them.
