Play slow, laid back, and melodic. Usually there's a drumbeat around 72-80 bpm,
the folks rap you play a pretty simple tasty little riff and then the rap comes
back.

To do it well, you need to listen to a lot of hip hop. Find someone who really
knows the genre. Sit and listen for awhile. It may seem subtle but the fans can
tell the real from the fake immediately.
