[Harp-L] charlie musselwhite & dr. john

Hi all.

         Saw Dr. John, Shemika Copeland, and Charley Musselwhite in Princeton 
the other night. Same band backed up all three very exceptional "virtuosos". 
Fantastic show!  Charley, of course, brought his big fat harptone and very 
tasty style to every tune he played harmonica. But he really blew me away when he 
first came out and did a couple of tunes acoustically on guitar and vocals. 
Traditionally perfect with lots of emotion and style. Mr. Musslewhite has been 
doing a lot of guitar practicing!  Way up there on the performance scale. 
Congrates and kudos to Charley for not sitting on his harp laurels, and digging 
deep into his music. The show would have been worth going to just to hear 
Charley sing and play his guitar.
