Re: [Harp-L] Why use an effects pedal?

What you want is something that emulates a (rotating) Leslie speaker,
not a Hammond organ per se. There are a very wide range of devices
available. The Digitech RP series pedals, the Behringer VAMP series,
the Line 6 POD, and various other amp emulators all include a rotating
speaker (Leslie) effect. Mid to high end reverb units from Lexicon and
Alesis, and multi-effects units from Kurzweil, Roland, and Yamaha do
too. There are devices selling in the mid-hundreds low thousands of
dollars range, and devices selling for much less than a hundred. There
are actual rotating-horn speakers available, some with amp included.

In other words, a few details about your price range and the ways you
intend to use the thing would be useful.
