Playing harp got me into the PA business w/ an investment worth more than my home - One thing is clear: Mic the harp amp - even if your system is 2 speakers on a stick. Results in even coverage throughout the venue and will get you up to the level of the guitar [ hopefully you have an engineer ]..All things equal - A mic plugged into an amp will lose to a guitar/amp combo.......
