[Harp-L] Pleasant Surprise

Hi Folks,

I had an interesting surprise today.  A few years ago a friend of mine made
me a copy of Michelle Shocked's CD, Short Sharp Shocked. He even copied the
liner notes.  I haven't listened to it in two years and really haven't
thought about it since but today I grabbed it and brought it to work with
me.  I heard the song Graffiti Limbo which I forgot was on the CD- there is
a great harp solo on this song.  I don't know why I was never curious about
who the harp player was but I  was this time and so I scoped out the liner
notes and what do ya know? It was Rod Piazza.  the thing is, of the four
Piazza CDs I have he really doesn't do any acoustic harp like you hear on
this Michelle Shocked CD.  He sounds great.  I was just really surprised  to
learn it was him on the CD.
