[Harp-L] Sonny Jr post
Hi everyone, I didn't know it would create that much buzz, but let me explain
more on the capacitors. For all those players I modified reissue bassmans
for, before starting this project, I am offering $100 off if you buy a new amp, I
really had no idea of what was to come, just doing my best with what was
available. The cost of this new project is staggering, I know some other amps
cost more, some less, I offer a full package of customer support and help with
every aspect of the harp from referrals for mics, to effects pedals, how to set
up the amp for certain situations, mic'ing the amp on stage. For those with
reissues with hoffman kits, changing over to the paper in oil capacitors will
give it a more warm and full tone. As you already have a lot into what is still
a reissue, I suggest some other brands other than Astrons and will give a full
list of what is available. I only will be selling the best of the best, every
one tested and guaranteed. For those converting other amps, email me and I
can check the schematic as to what you will need, or if you know what coupling
caps are, that makes it easier. You just email me the values and we go from
there. If you have a reissue with a printed circuit board it is what it is, you
can work the tube subs and get an excellent sound, we have just taken it to the
highest level possible for what it is. Guitar players all over the world are
starting to buy the new 410 as they have been dissatisfied with other boutique
amps that claim to do this or that. I just want to put everything on the
table, as I care more about what is right than making tons of money. I want to
thank Scott Berberian for helping me get my project underway, without him this
would probably have been impossible. We did not know each other from a hole in
the wall, and I have developed a great respect for his work and ideas. Many
thanks to Keith Graham for hosting my web site, www.harpamps.com, and of course
David Barrett, who has believed in my product for many years now. It was Dave
that invited me to my first Masterclass in 1998, since then our relationship
has continued to grow. RECORD more Dave, we want to hear you. Sugar Ray Norcia,
Paul Lamb, Mitch Kashmar, and all the players who have use my amps, thank you.
