[Harp-L] re: altered tunings and chromatic



There's a lot of tools. It's fun to experiment to see what works best for the
song (I come from a song writer perspective).You get different sounds,
different feel, and different chords with different tunings and different
positions. Sometimes the right harp for the job is a piano.

There's also the fun factor.Nothing more fun than jamming late at night,
experimenting with a new chromatic, or with a different tuning. Staying right
on the edge, playing an instrument that's vaguely familiar but totally
different.
