I suffer from allergies so performing in hay-fever season can be a
drag. Allergy medications don't usually work quick enough, or dry you
up quick enough. I recommend over the counter decongestants for colds
taken about an hour before show-time. Make sure you drink a lot of
liquids (non-alcoholic) because those things will dry you out and
there's nothing worse than playing harp with a dry mouth.
Of course you should consult a doctor before taking my advice.
