I was very sorry to hear that Max Geldray has passed. Even though I only recently discovered his
music, if I'd known he was living in Palm Springs I certainly would have made an effort to meet
him.
I discovered Max this summer when I became a fan of OTR (Old Time Radio). There are several FTP
sites on the internet where you can download thousands of hours of classic radio shows for less
than a pittance. I downloaded some episodes of the "The Goon Show" and found his delightful
harmonica playing was frequently featured. He was truly a class act and will be missed!
