A gear head I am not! Although I wish I was
sometimes. In terms of switching out preamp tubes, do
most of you replace all the tubes, when doing so, or
just the lead gain tube? I know a lot of older amps
only have a tube or two, but I've seen some with three
to five.
One last question. Does anybody have a brand of tube
I should try? I know NOS are supposedly the best, but
anything else would help too.
Thanks.
