[Harp-L] Richard Hunter free subscriber download for Nov. 2004

Hi all,

My live-in-the-studio country blues CD with Sugar Mama UK, "All You Good
People," has been mastered by Chuck Eller, the terrific engineer who
engineered and mastered my solo CDs (and keyboardist for The Unknown
Blues
Band, based in Burlington, VT) , and the graphics are completed. It'll
be
available for sale before Christmas! This month's free subscriber
download
is a full-length version of one of my favorite pieces on the CD: my
and Sugar Mama UK's take on guitarist Dave Carson's driving, emotional
Mayall-style blues "Woman".

I've decided to make this piece available to everyone on these lists, as
well as my
subscribers. You can download "Woman" at:
http://hunterharp.com/WomanBySugarMamaUK+RichardHunter.mp3

"Woman" was recorded live in the studio, with no overdubs. The
harmonica I used is
a Hohner CX-12 chromatic, recorded without amp. I based the harmonica
part on Andy
Summers's guitar line on the Police's "Every Breath You Take", with a
hefty dose
of blues in the solos.

Stay tuned for more news on the Sugar Mama UK + Richard Hunter CD, "All
You Good
People!" And enjoy "Woman." If you'd like to join my free subscription
list, just
send me an email with the email address where you want me to send my
monthly notice
telling you where to find the latest piece. That's about it: you give
me an email address,
I give you music. See http://hunterharp.com/freemus.html for the very
few other details.

Regards,
Richard Hunter
