[Harp-L] In praise of Glenn Holland and Sonny Junior.

Hi folks, it's been some considerable time since I have contributed to the
list but I feel compelled to do so on this occasion.

I have just received SJ1 #141 which was on eBay a few weeks back (as I'm
sure some of you will recall) which was sold to me by Glenn Holland.

Dealing with Glenn has been a real pleasure. He is, as we would say over
here "a 100% stand up guy".

He answered all my questions and brought no pressure to bear to  complete
the purchase once he realised it was going to cost an arm  and a leg to get
it shipped to the UK (for that shipping price I  expected my parcel to get a
seat, meal and movie!) and then through  Customs (ouch!)

It was EXCELLENTLY packed (including the spare pyle speaker) -  shipped
separately at his cost. It took me 90 minutes just to unpack it all!

Well, I pre-warned the neighbours and then proceeded to 'move some air' with
the SJ. Now, there's no point in me posting a review of the amp here except
to say that everything you've heard about Sonny  Junior amps - well - it's
all true!

Got a gig on tomorrow - I think it gonna be good!
