Great advise Keith. Also I think that practicing with a lower harp like a G
or low F low D low E etc. has really helped my tone.

For harpers who are beginning to play amplified..
Try not to use an amplifier when you practice.

If you need to get used to having a mic in your hand you can hold it as
usual but don´t plug it in.

Remember that volume alone is not the answer.

Practice playing soft with the idea of getting a good tone.
Once you master this, playing loud with tone will not be a problem.
