Butter' in 3rd position

hey all,


   i was just thinking about Paul Butterfield and
remembered he talks about 3rd position in his
instructional video - but i don't remember ever
hearing him PLAY in 3rd position! can anyone think of
a recording in which he played in 3rd position? or
1st, for that matter?
