Brendan Power & Michael Lempelius CD

Hi all,

in addition to Benoit Feltens enthusiastic report about Brendans and
Michaels gig in St. Aignan, and because it wasn't mentioned on this list
so far:

there is a CD available, recorded in October 2003 with the title "pure
and simple". Michael Lempelius plays Bouzouki and Mandolin, Brendan
Power plays diatonic and chromatic Harmonicas. I am sure that you can
order the CD through Brendan's website.

There are 11 tracks on the CD, some traditionals and also some original
tunes from both players. Some Irish music of course, but also music of
the Balkans, Bulgaria, Finland. A little bit of bluesy flavour and "an
early example of Brendans's new fusion genre: Diddlyjazz..." (quote from
the CD-booklet).
